$436K Help Local Efforts, Education: The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties gives $436,000 to six organizations. Funded by the Impact 100 Palm Beach County initiative, local women provide $1,000 in support of organizations working in the areas of education, the environment, arts and culture, family, and health and wellness.

Winners include: . Best Foot Forward of Boca Raton, which received $100,000 for their Grounded for Life program. This program was designed to support foster care youth’s aspirations to graduate from high school and transition into post-secondary education. The program “grounds students for life” by connecting them to caring adults and boosting their belief in themselves.
