Summary: These grants support special education projects. The foundation’s education grants aid and support teachers who wish to establish an effective learning tool using the arts in teaching children with learning disabilities and other special needs. Innovation counts. The Pahoa High & Intermediate School, Pahoa, HI, won a grant for a new project, “EAT, Edible Art for Teens.”  The project enabled students to create artistic creations using food items and special classroom tools.
