Private Funder: Do Something; Opportunity: Do Something Awards; Funding Focus: Youth; Geographic Focus: National; Eligibility: Individuals up to age 25; Funding: Five $10,000 awards and a single $100,000 award; Deadline: TBA, the competition is to be launched soon.

Summary: These awards honor young social change volunteers. Of the five winners, one will be selected as the grand-prize winner and will receive a total of $100,000 in community grants paid directly to the nonprofit of his or her choice.
