Summary: The Awesome Foundation funds a range of small, grass-roots projects that can be inspirational to communities. These support projects that bring communities, cities and neighborhoods together. Youth projects have won in the past. In Atlanta, the S.M.A.R.T Moves Chess Club for Teen Boys won a grants as did the The Cross Keys Foundation to build a “Little Free Library” along the Buford Highway corridor for a largely school-aged ELL population. ┬áThe grants are popular because they have broad eligibility and can be applied to a range of projects.
