$500,000 to Improve Services to Abuse Victims

anxious-3-1431659-640x480The Admin. for Children & Families (HHS) releases the $500,000 competition for the The Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grant: National Capacity Building Center to Expand Services for Children, Youth, and Abused Parents Impacted by Domestic Violence grant (CFDA Number: 93.592) (Funding Opportunity Number: HHS-2016-ACF-ACYF-EV-1157).

Deadline: June 27 (no match required).

The grantee will enhance the capacity of domestic and dating violence service programs to meet the unique needs of children, youth and abused parents impacted by domestic violence. The grantee will also create new technical assistance resources that promote protective factors and resilience when working with children, youth, and teens impacted by domestic violence.

Nonprofits and governments are eligible; Faith-based organizations are encouraged to apply.
