Summary: MRG Foundation funds Oregon-based grassroots groups that organize people to work for progressive social change. The foundation’s General Fund provides grants to organizations with annual budgets of less than $500,000 that are addressing the root causes of critical social justice issues by bringing people together and building their power to change political, social, and economic systems that are perpetuating the injustice. Priority is given to youth projects and those efforts that address the needs of women, low-income people, immigrants and refugees, people of color, people living with disabilities.
