Summary: These grants support programs empowering youth and helping them become leaders. The foundation funds programs helping youth up to age 23 to become responsible contributors to their families and communities. The foundation occasionally makes grants outside its designated geographical region. The foundation does not accept unsolicited applications, so this may be a good opportunity to get on their radar screen by sending them a letter of inquiry.

The geographic focus isn’t set in stone. Those from other areas who win support of a board member may receive funding. For example, the foundation gave $25,000 to Kids of Honor (, Salisbury, MD for a K-12 dropout prevention program.
