ArtsWave supports the work of arts organizations improving community development efforts in the greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky metro region.
Deadline: March 3.
ArtsWave is seeking applications for its Catalyzing Impact Grant Program, which encourages arts and cultural heritage projects that support the goals of its Blueprint for Collective Action.
Introduced in 2015, the blueprint aims to leverage the power of the arts to help build a vibrant economy and more connected community in the greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky metro region. It does this by setting out five goals for the arts sector built on the unique resources and skills possessed by the sector and by working within the broader needs of the entire community. Grants of up to $15,000 will be awarded for one-time or first-time arts or cultural heritage projects that support one of the goals of the Blueprint for Collective Action. The grant program requires a one-to-one match by the applicant. Up to 25% of matching dollars can come from in-kind contributions.
To be eligible, applicants must have 501(c)(3) tax status or be nonprofit in nature. In addition, organizations must be based in the Cincinnati-Middletown, OH-KY-IN MSA, which includes Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties in Ohio; Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, and Pendleton counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn and Union counties in Indiana.
