Summary: Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ foundation supports children and youth programs helping the underserved. The Rise School of Dallas won a $14,000 grant to support its early childhood programs; Family Place (, Dallas, TX won a $10,000 grant for family domestic violence prevention programs and Souper Bowl of Columbia, SC won a $12,500 grant for a food advocacy/children’s nutrition program.

Recently, the Arlington Youth Foundation donated $1 million, along with $1 million from the NFL, to support the Gene and Jerry Jones Family North Texas Youth Education Town at the Salvation Army in Arlington. The YET provides educational, athletic and arts programs, and other services, including after-school and summer care, to Arlington youth and their families.
