Summary: This funder supports capacity-building and leadership programs for nonprofits and tribal organizations in MN, ND & SD. The foundation supports the self-determination of tribal nations, with the goal that all tribal nations in the three states are exercising self-determination and actively rebuilding their infrastructure. The foundation supports efforts to increase educational achievement and encourage self-determination, leadership and community engagement.

Other Grants

The foundation plans to open later this year another round of the Education Ecosystem Grants to improve K-12 education. Grantees help create an education ecosystem where other organizations can succeed in reducing disparities and improving outcomes for all students in the region.
