Summary: The foundation provides general operating and program support. Its emerging Critical Issue Fund (https://goo.gl/UBSBvq) supports efforts related to the prevention, reduction and the recovery of wasted food. The Foundation is particularly interested in cutting-edge approaches that are timely, demonstrate potential for significant impact and can serve as a model for others.

Other Funding

Eligible organizations for the Community Fund should be located and/or serve constituents in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania. Under the education category, funding supports programs that prepare youth for academic success or employment. Health and human services grants support the promotion of family health, stability and overall well-being. Of particular interest are programs that focus on maternal and child health and youth development. A letter of intent will be required for organizations that have not been funded in the past year. The deadline for that competition is Dec. 1.
