Drucker Innovation Awards Now Open; May 12 Deadline

Private Funder: Peter Drucker Foundation; Opportunity: Nonprofit Innovation Award; Funding Focus: Innovation; Geographic Focus: National; Eligibility: Nonprofits; Funding (estimated): Winning organization receives a $100,000 grant, while the two runners-up receive $7,000 and $5,000 grants; Deadline: May 12. 

Summary: The program is designed to recognize and reward nonprofits that have developed innovative solutions to key community problems involving their clients. Past winners have covered a wide variety of issues, including crime and children’s issues, including the group Safe Families for Children, which provides shelters for at-risk children.
