Scholarships, Education are Grant Foundation’s Focus

Summary: The foundation supports research on reducing disparities in academic, behavioral, social and economic outcomes for youth. The foundation will give priority to proposals related to inequality on the basis of economic, racial/ethnic and language backgrounds. The Scholar Grants are a career development program for promising early-career researchers with interests in reducing inequality or understanding the use of research evidence.

Other Grants

The foundation offers other funding programs: William T. Grant Distinguished Fellows Grant; Research Grants and the Youth Service Improvement Grants. Deadlines vary by program. Youth Service Improvement Grants, which are open to applicants in New York City, help strengthen existing youth services by addressing issues or problems at the point of service, where staff and youth meet. Applicants should keep in mind youth, especially minority and low-income populations, and afterschool programs are focus areas for foundation giving.
