Legion Underwrites Child Education Efforts

Summary: The foundation awards grants only to nonprofits that have the potential of helping children in more than one state. Grants are not made for any of the normal, day-to-day operating expenses of the grantee or special operating expenses connected with the grant. Grants are awarded for a period of one year. All grants must be completed between the period of Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 of the award year. Grant awards generally include a broad range of children’s programs.
