Program: Technology& Media Services for Individuals With Disabilities–Stepping-Up Technology Implementation; (CFDA Number: 84.327S); Eligibility: Nonprofits, schools, school districts, states and charter schools (projects must promote use of assistive technologies in the classroom); Funding: $2.5 million for five awards (no match is required); Deadline: June 5.

Summary: These 48-month grants promote accessible materials that will make it easier to teach children with disabilities in the K-12 classroom. For example, the program specifically supports captioning and video description efforts appropriate for use in the classroom.
