Summary: These grants support projects that inspire and nurture students’ interest in math and/or science, offer innovative approaches to teaching or learning in math and science and foster student achievement in math and/or science. Priority will be given to programs using evidence-based methodology.
The fund also offers America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education grants, which distributes grants up to $25,000 to local school districts enhance education in the areas of math and/or science. The districts must be nominated by a local farmer. The fund also supports the America’s Farmers Grow Communities grants, which makes a $2,500 award to nonprofits, schools or community-based organizations which have done a good job at enhancing the quality of life in a rural community.
