Summary: Projects supporting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered youth are a priority. The foundation works to improve society through social activism. It focuses on organizations that serve the needs of the LGBT community. The CyberCenters category promotes the development of computer labs at LGBT community centers. The Gun Violence Prevention category strives to reduce gun violence through research, advocacy, and community empowerment. The Leadership Initiatives category supports the development of the next generation of municipal leaders.

Youth groups have won in the past. For example, the Cape& Islands Gay & Straight Youth Alliance, Hyannis, MA, won $21,000 for general support and Black Hills Area Gay & Lesbian Youth Support & Resource Center, Rapid City, SD won $5,000 for operating support.
