KMF Favors Children, Youth Programs

Funder: Kinder Morgan Foundation; Opportunities: Children and Youth Grants; Funding Focus: Children, youth, health, STEM; Geographic Focus: National, where energy company Kinder Morgan has a presence; Eligibility: Nonprofits and public and private K-12 schools; Funding: Multiple awards up to $5,000 each; Deadline: Nov. 10.

Summary: The foundation focuses giving on K-12 programs that promote the academic and artistic interests of children and youth. Priority is given to efforts that focus on science, math and music, including tutoring; and arts education programs. Applicants can expect a funding decision within 90 days of submission. It will not provide support more than once per calendar year to the same organization and we do not make multi-year commitments.
