Koch Foundation Offers Operation, Capital Grants

Summary: The foundation supports Roman Catholic evangelical activities and programs for Roman Catholic schools. Grants are made for direct evangelical programs, preparation of evangelists, Roman Catholic schools in resource-poor areas. Approval of an LOI prompts an application form from the foundation which must be completed within 90 days.  All projects must have additional funding sources identified, including amounts requested and/or received.

The foundation will consider funding requests for equipment, matching/challenge support, program development, capital costs and training. For example, the foundation gave $20,000 to Saint Joseph Mission School, San Fidel, NM, for a new curriculum for a Catholic school; $15,000 to the Marist Brothers of the Schools, Bayonne, NJ, for teacher support; and $10,000 to the Stratford Catholic Regional School System, Stratford, CT, for a school faith formation and evangelical program.
